About We Are Mirrors
Where is your focus? What has your attention? More specifically, are you focused on Jesus, or the things of this world? We are mirrors, and as a result, we will reflect what we are focused on. Proverbs 27:19 states; "As in water a face reflects the face, so the heart of a person reflects the person." We know the Bible states; "the heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it?" It is only through Jesus that our lives are transformed. God removes our heart of stone which is desperately sick and deceitful, and replaces it with a heart of flesh. Due to God's transforming power, beginning at salvation, we begin to live for Jesus, our lives change. Knowing this, the Christian also knows they are a target in a spiritual war. As a result, our enemy targets our flesh and seeks to tweak our focus. Proverbs 4:27 states; "Do not turn to the right or to the left; turn your foot from evil." Here's the thing, you are drawn to where ever your eyes are focused on. If we are focused on the things of this world, our lives will reflect the things of this world. If we are focused on Jesus, our lives will reflect Him. We all need to continually examine our lives according to the word of God, and readjust our focus from time to time. As believers in Jesus we are in process but may we seek to live our lives for His glory. We are all mirrors, our focus is what we're reflecting, so what are you showing?
I pray this album is a blessing, an encouragement, and that it challenges you. If you don't know Jesus you can email me at averagejoeministries@gmail.com, I would love to talk with you. God bless.
