Short Bio
United in one Spirit, mind, and mission, Meek Heroes is bridging the gap between Christian hip-hop, rock, and people. Meek Heroes merges the styling’s of Detroit rapper Dexter Montaie, and metal vocalist turned rapper, Joe Bragg. It is their desire to bring glory to God in all they do, edify and equip the church, and reach the lost. Music is a tool, it connects people, and may open a door for a believer to share the good news of Jesus with others.

We have a family first ministry mindset as we seek to bring glory to God in all that we do. Joe has the humbling privilege of being the Ministry Director at Kalamazoo Youth For Christ where he disciples his staff team and serves alongside them as they minister to the teens of Kalamazoo County. Joe also has a public speaking ministry where he has spoken at several youth retreats as well as helping local churches with pulpit supply. Dexter has assisted with church planting, various outreach and evangelism events, as well as discipling youth and adults alike. Dexter sees his vocation as a ministry as he works as a first responder in Detroit hospitals. God has provided Dexter with many opportunities to share Jesus with the lost and encourage those who are in Him. Along with all of this, Joe and Dexter run christcentered.us which is a platform they use to work with other ministries, artists and they are working on publishing books to teach and edify the body of Christ.
